This is a safeguarding training for all school governors, and can serve as a comprehensive guide to safeguarding responsibilities for members of the school governing board. This course provides the strategic understanding governors need to fulfil their safeguarding duties effectively in Nigerian schools.

- Key Policies and Guidance. Learn essential safeguarding policies, and procedures for preventing, recognising, and reporting concerns.
- Quality Assurance Preparations. Ensure you are prepared to evidence safeguarding practices for school inspections confidently.

- Safer Recruitment and the Single Central Record (SCR)
Note: This is an advanced focused training for governors. It is not a general safeguarding course for all school staff. It is also recommended, but not mandatory that Governors complete the basic Introduction to Safeguarding Course before embarking on this one.
