This is a LIVE ONLINE session aimed at giving a clear foundation to child neglect. In this hour, participants will explore what neglect looks like and its effects on children, using real-life examples. There is also a discussion and interactive case study. This course serves as a foundation for our Child Neglect Training course designed to improve your safeguarding skills.
Understanding Disclosures Course (Safeguarding Bits)
This 1-hour interactive course provides an essential introduction to understanding disclosures in safeguarding. Participants will learn how to recognise signs of abuse, appreciate the sensitive nature of the disclosure journey, and offer key support to children and young people. The session includes practical guidance on responding to disclosures and offers insight into the more in-depth training available in our comprehensive Principles of Child Safeguarding Course.
Introduction To Safer Recruitment for Schools
This 50 minute session introduces the principles of safer recruitment, and its importance in safeguarding children. Participants will be introduced to processes involved in Safer Recruitment. Designed for school leaders, this session aims to expose participants to foundational knowledge of safer recruitment practices for staff and volunteers in schools.
Safer Recruitment for Schools
This 3-hour Safeglia’s Safer Recruitment Training equips schools to include safeguarding in every hiring stage, ensuring a child-centred recruitment. Participants learn to identify risks, conduct vetting confidently, and make safe, compliant recruitment decisions.
Affluent Neglect
This 1-hour live virtual class explore Affluent Neglect, a subtle form of neglect that can occur in wealthy families. Aimed at school leaders and staff, the course helps you recognise signs, understand its impact, and implement effective strategies to support affected students. The “Introduction to Neglect” training course is a prerequisite to registering for this training.
Antibullying Training
This interactive programme teaches participants to define bullying, identify its criteria and forms, recognise cyberbullying signs, and understand bully characteristics amongst others. This is a comprehensive course that is offered virtually and physically. This course can be attended in-person as a full 5 hour course or virtually as a 2-part course of 3 hours each.
Child Neglect In Schools
This 2-hour course is designed for DSLs and educators. It covers types of neglect, its impact, and challenges in identification. Participants will gain strategies for recognising, responding to, and reporting neglect in school settings. The course includes interactive discussions and provides a certificate of completion.
Building a School Safeguarding Culture
