  • Ages 7 to 12 years old

Materials Needed:

  • Scenario cards with different bullying situations
  • Optional: props for role-play (e.g., hats, glasses, name tags etc)

Instructions:

  1. Preparation:
    • Download the scenario cards describing various bullying situations
    • Print these scenarios on separate cards.
  2. Introduction:
    • Explain the purpose of the activity: to understand different perspectives, understand bullying, recognise its effects, and learn how to be kind and supportive friends.
  3. Role-Play:
    • Divide the class into small groups (3-4 students per group).
    • Give each group a scenario card.
    • Instruct groups to read their scenario and act it out.
    • After each group performs their role-play, have the class discuss:
      • How did it feel to be in each role?
      • What emotions did you experience?
      • What can we learn from this scenario?
      • The discussion on each scenario card
  4. Discussion:
    • Facilitate a class discussion about the feelings and perspectives shared.
    • Have the discussions outlined in each scenario
    • Teach the importance of empathy and understanding others’ experiences.
