This Session is designed for:

  • School leaders, senior management, safeguarding leads and all staff working in schools across Nigeria.
  • Colleagues who want to understand how to strengthen safeguarding culture through low-level concern reporting.
  • Staff in schools where a low-level concern policy does not yet exist or needs strengthening.

Overview

Low-level concerns are often overlooked, yet they play an important role in preventing harm and building a culture of safety in schools. This session is designed to help schools in Nigeria understand what low-level concerns are, why they matter, and how to build reporting systems that protect children and support staff.

This session combines practical tools, case studies, and interactive discussions to help participants move from “gut feelings” to confident reporting.
